From Protector of the Grey House:
Natalia allowed the men to escort her, one to each side, out the door and down the steps to her waiting lover and to the people she protected. She knew how it would look and didn’t care. She hoped Julia was successful in convincing Anthony to speak with Vincent privately. When they reached the meeting room, the men walked inside with her and led her to stand in front of Vincent. He gave Natalia an odd look before turning his attention to Joseph, who spoke to his master quietly.
Vincent was sitting on his throne, the only piece of furniture in the room. He was dressed in a gray suit, with a maroon shirt and matching handkerchief in the pocket. His head was turned to the right, away from the door, and his body was closer to that side of the chair. His right elbow was resting on the armrest, his hand in front of his mouth, hiding the shape of his words.
